What do we want?
Our aim is to make a significant contribution to the integration of mindfulness into society. Based on our long-term experience as mindfulness teachers, researchers, therapists and MBSR- and MBCT-trainers, we want to foster the competent and authentic teaching and implementation of mindfulness and mindfulness-based interventions. These interventions are inspired by Eastern meditation traditions and scientifically proven for their effectiveness.
What moves us…
“Mindfulness means to meet the experience of the present moment with openness, curiosity and care.”
For us, mindfulness is a core competence that enables us to deal with the multiple challenges that come along with modern life with more lightheartedness and ease. Research has shown that mindfulness practice has numerous positive benefits, including an improvement in health and quality of life. A regular mindfulness practice also helps develop sustainable skills such as concentration, attention control, awareness in dealing with emotions and difficulties in life, self-care, self-compassion and body awareness.
We understand mindfulness as a basic human ability that requires strengthening consciously. For us, it is central that every moment in life is important in its uniqueness and that we allow ourselves to experience its full potential.
The implementation of mindfulness into society, including working life, healthcare, workplace health promotion, schools (for teachers and students) as well as in families is close to our hearts. For this purpose, we currently offer different seminars, plan to develop further course-formats and are open for collaboration and inspiration.
